Aliso Canyon Park

Less than ten minutes from our Northridge, California apartments, Aliso Canyon Park is a nearly three and a half mile hiking trail ideal for travelers of all skill levels. With wide paths and limited traffic, staying considerately distant is a breeze. It's easy to see why it's a favorite with so many locals, with its gorgeous wildflowers, desert vistas, and copious shade trees. Keep your eyes sharp and you may even catch a glimpse of local wildlife from the well-kept natural path.

Limekiln Canyon Park

Limekiln Canyon Park hosts a handful of trails, but our favorite is the Porter Ranch Ridge, a winding path that follows the peaks of the beautiful California hillside. Carefully maintained, it offers stunning views of the valley, especially during sunset hours. As with all these trails, make sure to bring your mask, since they're asking visitors to wear them while passing other hikers. Our favorite part? It's only ten minutes from our Northridge apartments.

O’Melveny Park

If you're anxious to maximize your hiking experience, O'Melveny Park serves as a one-stop-shop for just about every kind of outdoor adventure you could want. Hosting more than half a dozen trails of varying skill levels and just about every type of landscape, it's ideal for the hiker looking for a challenge. You'll have to make multiple trips to experience it all — good thing it's just fifteen minutes from our apartments near CSUN.
