While the set-up is similar, each group has its own lane lined by black, chain link fencing leading up to a weathered wood target board. The THUNK! of axes and darts hitting their targets and friends cheering one another on intermix with the rich scent of barbeque grilling and walls lined with pop culture icons. 

How Safe Is Axe Throwing, Really?

Throwing axes isn't for the faint of heart. There is a real element of danger whenever hefty blades are getting tossed about. Thankfully, professional venues have measures in place to reduce the chances of accidents, like ricochets. Still, you will be asked to wear sensible (close-toed) shoes and sign a safety waiver.
